  • Never get directly in front of a door. Open a door from the side.
  • Remember, you sound like a herd of elephants when you run.
  • Never be predictable
  • Don't reload while your teammate is reloading.
  • Don't waste your bullets firing around with a teammate, you never know who's coming around the corner.
  • Check your blind spots.
  • Don't block doorways or hallways.
  • Covering fire is your friend, use it.
  • Learn to listen out for texture sounds. Sound of someone on wood, grass, cement, snow, etc.

Elite Fighting Corps.- Damn Cheaters

DAMN CHEATERS!!
This game does have cheaters and hackers but you should be accurate when publicly accusing a player on the game screen. Nothing makes you look more like an idiot then to call a player a cheat when you aren't right. It not only makes you look like a fool but it reflects badly on your clan. Before you accuse make sure of your facts.

First, a cheater is someone who uses enhancements that are not apart of the game. Usually it's a script or glitch in a map which the cheater will use to give him an unfair advantage over other players. These are scripts called wambot, chams, aimbot, no fog, wallhack, etc. Second, a hacker is a programmer. He develops programs that interfere with the game server causing DOS attacks, uboats appearing, and server crashes.

Lots of players think that if they're killed 3 times then someone is cheating. Sometimes you might believe there is no way in hell that a player could have seen you. You might even think a player killed you through the wall or door. The dumbest reasons are -- 'he's too good', 'I don't like him', or 'he's invisible'.

The pictures below demonstrate that players can kill through walls and doors. It's not a cheat. If you think a player is invisible then it's time for a 'vid_restart' in your game console. Some players are just damn good. They check their blind spots and come around corners shooting. There may be a part of your body or gun that sticks out long before you come into the scene, giving the other player the heads up. Good players will listen for sounds to locate you and a bullet won't be far behind.

If you still believe a player is cheating, your best option is to leave the server. If it got under your skin to the point of throwing your mouse against the wall, you should report the player to the clan via their website. If you still can't stop yourself from typing on the screen just make sure you're right and don't say anything that would prove to others that you're the problem. Most servers are monitored by an officer of that clan and logs are generated to be read at anytime.
